The car is in excellent condition with a very strong engine, perfect transmission, nice brightwork, new MXW tires, original interior, and an excellent body & paint. It’s a pleasure to drive and comes with books, partial tools, and all service records. Based on the many inquiry’s posed by email I would also like to share the following additional information. Body… There are absolutely no dents or dings on the car. Paint… Looks very nice but is now ~10 years old and does show signs of road rash here and there Rust… There is 0 rust on the body of the car. Some of the suspension and exhaust pipes are brown in color but I don’t believe that is a concern. Body Work… I have pictures during the repaint when it was taken down to bare metal. There are no signs of major body work and all minor dings were taken out with lead (no bondo). Engine… Last compression ratio was when I bought the car which showed 160+ psi on all 12 cylinders. It starts nicely, revs great, and pulls like a locomotive with no smoke. Transaxle… The car shifts nicely into all gears (including 2nd), and there are no nasty sounds to worry about. Brakes… Are quite impressive and stop the car hard and true with no squeaking or pulling. Tires… All 4 corners have new Michelin XWX with less than 200 miles Wheels… Look O.K. but have marks from the knock offs and need to be refinished. Interior… Is all original with perfect dash, perfect wood, leather seats show wear but are not torn, headliner is very clean and tight, carpet is original, rear deck is a bit faded in places. Electrical… Everything works except clock, window washer, and the radio does not seem happy Suspension & Steering…Seem fine to me Weather-stripping and Rubber… Seem original with no big tears but show their age. Glass… Is just about perfect with very very minor nicks (no scratches or cracks) in a couple of spots. Chrome… Is excellent on big parts like the bumpers but some of the small parts like the trim around the tail lights is beginning to show pitting when looked at very closely. Engine Bay… Is overall very clean and original…#s for chassis and engine match Trunk… Also looks very clean and original. Electric antennae is obviously an add-on Exhaust… Everything is hung nicely and the car sounds great Clutch… Was replaced as part of the engine work and works very nicely with no signs of slippage. Underneath… Everything looks original with no signs of rust or body work. It’s pretty oily though due to the small leaks Needs & or Blemishes 1) The car likes to mark its spot with a few drops of oil both from the engine and transaxle where ever she goes 2) The paint looks very nice but the car is not a garage queen and has been driven routinely. It therefore has very minor blemishes here and there. 3) The drivers side window does not go up and down smoothly 4) There is a 3/8″ diameter “bubble” on the rear fender (drivers side)… It has not changed in the 4 years that I have owned it. 5) The seat padding seems a bit soft to me 6) As noted above, the wheels (and knock offs) should probably be refinished.
