Exquisite, Rare, and Beautiful .. this 1967 Ferrari engined Fiat Dino Coupe is a solid and extremely well maintained example which I have owned since 1979. This has always been a very clean car that has seen very little use in the last 20+ years. Actual mileage is about 61,500 as the 99,500 figure is in kilometers. It was in 1985 or 86 that i passed the 77,777 kilometer index on the odometer, so Yes – this is actual mileage. Engine is tip top after having recently been rebuilt and should be good for the customary 75,000 kilometers. Many parts replaced – rebuilt over the years. Passenger side rocker panel has hole which has been wire brushed, primered, and formerly covered up, and as illustrated the jacking point is still solid. I am including the replacement skin as purchased from Superformance some years back. I have refrained from paintwork over the years because the paint on the car has always been excellent, but after 30 years some attention to paintwork is in order. This is a no surprise vehicle. All systems work as they should. Wiring harness is clean and unmolested. Rust other than the hole is virtually non existent. Spare tire is the original Michelin XAS and the other 4 are Pirelli P5’s that I purchased way back in the mid 80’s but show no wear and only the slightest of aging – the rubber is still supple! Again the car has rarely seen the sun or harmful UV in many years. The car is a charmer to drive. Very capable suspension and a superb screaming engine. Rebuilt engine and mechanicals include 6 cylinder liners, 12 stainless valves – no sodium filled exhausts to worry about, valve guides, cam chains, align bore block, main bearings, con rod bearings, piston pins and bushings, piston rings, cam followers, piston distributor advance weights and pins, water pump, all magnesium castings for engine powder coated, carbs fully serviced, MSD capacitive discharge ignition, powder coated cromodora wheels, clutch and brake master cylinders, stainless steel brake vacuum tank, clutch slave cylinder, clutch disc and throwout bearing, etc …. The interior has been reupholstered and is as new. Originally a pizza parlor red that I found most unappealing, and therefore the color adjustment which I find extremely appropriate and appealing.
